Not a new invention, yet not\u003cbr\u003ecommonly used in the furniture industry since it’s challenging to form press. Working on\u003cbr\u003ethe concept for my lounge chair design, I decided to use this “3D”-veneer, never mind the challenges, since it would offer addtitonal options for the aesthetics.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe final seat design was too big to fit in the pressing machine, so I split it in half. I kept\u003cbr\u003ethe “split” in the backrest open, so you can see through the chair. Haven’t seen that\u003cbr\u003ebefore. “U\u0026amp;I” swings and spins – returning to it’s position when you get up.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA footstool is a must. But why hasn’t anyone realised it has pretty much the same height\u003cbr\u003eas a small support table?
