In 1987 Helsinki design office Linja commissioned Lindfors and fashion designer Marjatta Nissinen to create a concept and design for a bag collection. The client was an Italian manufacturer. The Lindfors and Nissinen collection utilized urethane plastics in unisex designs appropriate for the contemporary urbanite. The bag's frames were hardened urethane and their surfaces were an injected urethane that both resisted shock and offered protection from heat and cold.
