Photo: Marco Melander, photo model by Jörgen Ahlström  The “BOY" collection of three drinking glasses in different sizes and colours were designed by Lindfors in pressed glass for heavy use in the everyday. BOY was Lindfors' first project for Finnish company Iittala. Boy's design innovation is the mutation of its shape from round at the top to an ellipsoid at the bottom. The base is slightly wider than the top, which prevents the glasses from knocking against each other when they are in close contact (e.g., on a waiter's tray).
