Independent Study student work at the Dept. of Interior Architecture and Furniture Design / University of Art and Design Helsinki, Finland (Later “TAIK”). These three different chairs were a study in how cane could be used in alternative ways for the industry. String" is in the permanent collections of Röhsska Muset, Gothenborg, Sweden.

The concept derived from Lindfors’ three “METAXIS” sculptural chairs – “Reagan”, “Gorbatchov”, and “Ziyang”. (Pls. see “METAXIS” – categories 3/12 & 5/12)
