Flamingo is a stackable, all-purpose four legged chair that was manufactured by the Finnish company Martela from 1990 to 1993 as part of larger collection called Signatures. Flamingo was also available in an office version with a pneumatic leg. Flamingo's backrest was designed to most efficiently support office-work positions, and its minimal profile was not just aesthetic but also offered an architectural solution: In the office landscape even a large number of Flamingos appear to occupy less space than most office chairs....
