LAMELLI

Adjustable wall lamp, prototype. Invitational exhibition by BELUX, Switzerland. Design: Stefan Lindfors 1991. Photo: Marco Melander

Lamelli was created as part of an invitational exhibition of lamps by designers such as Ron Arad and Hannes Wettstein for a show in Cologne, Germany, during the furniture fair in 1991. The exhibit was arranged by BELUX. Lindfors' contribution “Lamelli" was a wall-mounted lamp directing the light down towards the floor, or by opening the "lamells" the light would shoot up towards the ceiling. Anodized aluminum sheet, vacuum formed acrylic, height: 40cm (16 inches).
