LANGOSTINUX

LANGOSTINUX  Adjustable table lamp, one-of-a-kind Independent Project. Design: Stefan Lindfors 1991. Photo: Marco Melander Steel legs, anodized aluminum sheet, vacuum formed acrylic, halogen light source. Height: 60cm (24 inches). After Lindfors' lamp “Scaragoo” was taken into production by Designer Artist Ingo Maurer in 1988, Lindfors proposed two more lamps inspired by insect shapes. Scaragoo with its yellow-anodized lamp shape would be joined by “Kantanga” with a blue-anodized shade and “Langostinux” with a red-anodized shade. Ingo Maurer opted not to produce these two new proposals. The 1992 prototypes are now in private collections. Langostinux was published in Blueprint (London) and The London Times.
