In October 2024, Helsinki witnessed a milestone event that signaled the beginning of a new design chapter. At Hotel AX, a one-of-a-kind art and design hotel envisioned by Stefan Lindfors and part of the Strawberry group, guests gathered to celebrate the launch of a bold new Finnish brand: STEFANLINDFORS®️

The evening unfolded as a layered introduction. First came the reveal of stefanlindfors.shop, the brand’s official home online, set to grow into a destination for collections, collaborations, and limited editions. Then came the debut of the very first product: the Scaraboy lamp, a sculptural piece paying homage to Ingo Maurer while capturing the playful and unexpected spirit at the core of Lindfors’ practice. And finally, the true highlight: the unveiling of the brand itself. Carrying the designer’s own name, STEFANLINDFORS®️ takes forty years of exploration across disciplines into a new global chapter.

A Night to Remember

Nearly 400 invited guests filled Hotel AX, becoming part of a moment that blurred the boundaries between party and performance. From the very start the atmosphere was electric, oysters were served fresh, champagne poured freely, and the hotel’s interiors transformed into a stage for light, music, and surprise appearances. Performances carried late into the night, ensuring this was no ordinary launch but a creative happening in its own right.
