Photo: Kari Holopainen  Having designed one TV-news studio for YLE already (“Moth" in 1988), Lindfors was soon asked to also re-design YLE’s prime time TV-news studio. Lindfors wanted to continue on his “Revealing-the-News-Reader"–concept, and designed a very simple surface of clear and transparent bended acrylic. For the back drop he created a graphic image of the globe, Finland being in the centre. The studio "YLE 2030" was on the air until the end of 1992, when Lindfors again was commissioned to re-design the entire news studio system of the national Finnish Broadcasting Company....
