Photo: Kari Holopainen The "Heart!" show was Lindfors' first one-man exhibition as a Sculptor at a professional art gallery. “Sydän!” in Finnish, and “Hjärta!” in Swedish. Five man-size sculptures interpreting hearts in various modes. The “Pump": Heart kept alive by latest technology; fiberglass on canvas, fluorescent light. "Fear": The clock is ticking; welded steel tube & alarm clock. "The Weight": Mental burden; rusted steel sheet & heavy rod stock. "The Nerve": Tension, ready to burst and hurt; cane & rope, spikes. "Self Portrait": Strong heart but dependent on blood; flat steel, glass bottle filled with pig blood. All five sculptures varying in size around and about 1 X 1 X 2 meters (3 X 3 X 6 feet)....
