Photo: Marco Melander The night club is located on the top floor of KAMPPI shopping mall & residence complex in the heart of Helsinki. The “Lux planet” can be seen through the glass wall from the Central Railway Station square. The sculpture is a perfect sphere shell in welded and chromed steel round stock, diameter 260 cm (102 incehs). It was built in 12 equal and detachable pieces and assembled on site. In 2009 the "LUX" nightclub re-opened as "Tiger" with a new agenda & interior concept but Lindfors' "Lux" sculpture remained in place....
