Party Rescue – Foldable stool

A few years ago I had a sit-down dinner for 14 people. I have 14 chairs at my dining table. 18 guests arrived… Shit. Luckily I had four tiny support tables having the same height as a regular chair, and my surprise-guests also got a seat under their asses. I realized there’s a need for such a “support stool”: A tiny seat with a backrest, comfortable to sit, and interesting to look at as well. It certainly must fold to fit many stools in a closet, but it should definitely be a piece of furniture with its own integrity – not just a cheap desperate aid you “must” bring to the table. So… I decided to design one, and I call it “Party Rescue”. In case you need a “rescue table” as well, I came up with one that folds just the same. Pick your own colour and hope for fun, uninvited guests!
