Photo: Marco Melander Lindfors painted a pattern all over the restaurant walls, ceiling and floors, to give it an identity surviving the colorful crowd, winter clothes, bags, all the stuff on the tables, and so on… He applied the same pattern in various scales and other colours to the bar table surfaces as well as to the fabrics of his "Lindfors 01" chairs. The ceiling lamps were custom designed for Piégon, as was obviously also the cocoon sculpture on top of the stair way to the rest rooms below. Lindfors’ assistant was Ms. Helena Sandman. In 1998 Restaurant Piégon changed owners and Lindfors' interior - with a few changes applied - became Club Mother. Two years later Lindfors re-designed Mother in a blue colour scale, also changing the patterns for all surfaces, and he replaced his "Lindfors 01" chair with his latest design, the "Abaqus" chair. Since a few years back, around 2004 perhaps, the restaurant in the premises on Eerikinkatu 2 belong to a new owner with no connection to Lindfors' design and architecture.
