Lindfors wanted a “red line" to his interior architecture concept. He decided to actually design the "red line" as a physical red straight line-shaped element attached to the ceiling, "making a connection" throughout the apartment. This element also contains ceiling lighting and provides additional storage space. Lindfors had the walls torn down between three spaces to open up for more flexible use of the residence, and rather than inserting traditional doors in these new "openings", he let wide sliding doors go all the way up to the ceiling.
