Lindfors created “Spinning Around" for his retrospective one-man show "100% Lindfors" at the Ålands Museum, City of Mariehamn, The Aaland Islands, Finland, in summer 2005. Painted overhead projector, glass box, dried and lacquered large-size African insect. You can view the thread-suspended bug spinning around due to the warm air produced by the lens surface of the projector. A shadow in motion is thus projected on a wall or any other desired surface; close or far.
